Top 10 Office Drone Tours
Is the ‘Great Return’ of the office right around the corner? With the Chicago rental market heating up, people are taking note of employees returning to the office. Since we launched Indoor Drone Tours, we have flown through hundreds of office spaces across the United States. So many offices had recent renovations and cool features, ranging from stadium-style seating to green rooftop terraces and even a fitness center complete with a boxing ring. With only a few weeks left in 2021, we compiled our top 10 office drone tours from this past year.
1315 North Branch Office Drone Tour
Featured as one of Chicago’s coolest offices, this former industrial warehouse on Goose Island is a whole vibe. In short, there are many modern features to be seen in this office space. In the drone tour, you can fly over the stadium-style seating, through a lofted space, and over dozens of cubicles. This office space boasts a ton of natural light, workstations, conferences rooms, and perhaps one of the coolest features: an indoor golf simulator.
2222 RPB Office Drone Tour
2222 RPB is a 136,000 SF Lakefront Horizontal Campus in Nashville TN. This campus has a lot to offer, including 8 acres of private lakefront access, boardwalks, outdoor spaces, boat dock, fitness center, and more.
Drone tours are great for showing both the interior and the exterior of a building; You can show prospective buyers where it’s located, the type of outdoor space surrounding the building, and see how the different rooms flow (workspaces, fitness centers, etc).
Houston Center Building Drone Tour
The newly renovated Houston Center offers a vast epicenter of culture in downtown Houston. Located along McKinney Street, the building provides:
- A central plaza.
- Renovated lobbies.
- Skybridges connecting to retail centers.
- Two outdoor sky decks.
- New world-class fitness center.
There’s certainly a lot of ground to cover when touring this building (4 million total sq ft across four towers). The drone tour flies the viewer through the new central plaza, the fitness center terrace, tenant space, and a few tower lobbies, all within a few minutes.
Bank of America Building Drone Tour
This Chicago building was the tallest commercial building added to the city’s skyline in the last 30 years. The 55 story tower includes a 45 ft high lobby, a 16,000 sq ft fitness center, and an upcoming Riverwalk cafe. The Bank of America Tower was a joint venture between Riverside Investment and Development and Howard Hughes Corporation and featured designs from Goettsch Partners.
A huge benefit to drone tours is how well they can convey a space. The drone smoothly transitions from the 23rd to the 24th floor during the tour to show off the fitness center (unlike 3D Tours, no clicking and dragging required!). At the 1:15 mark, the drone soars through the high-rise spaces at the top of the building. It’s a viewpoint that can’t be seen by anything other than a drone.
433 Vanburen Office Drone Tour
Chicago’s Old Post Office. You’ve probably seen it in movies and tv, but you haven’t seen it like this. The drone tour starts with the exterior, showing off the rooftop amenities. Then we fly through the main lobby (where many DC fans may recognize the location from the opening scene in The Dark Knight).
After sitting empty for almost 20 years, the 2.5 million square foot building underwent extensive renovations in 2016. The renovations totaled $800 million. As a result, this was the most significant historic redevelopment project in the nation. The reimagined Old Post Office welcomed its first new tenants in 2019. CBRE hired indoor Drone Tours to help lease one of the largest office vacancies in the building.
The 100-year-old building is seeing a new chapter with hundreds of tenants and contemporary amenities to attract more visitors. To learn more about the recent renovations, you can visit their website.
